The fabric is draped in rich architectural pleats, volume sleeves aren’t fit for work, indicating a noble birth of the wearer, though the gauzy sackcloth has the color of dust and desert sand...

She might be a princess in exile, a lady of high degree who is undertaking a pilgrimage to sacred sites, or perhaps - a daughter of the desert wind following her way unknown to mortals. Whoever she is, what she certainly has, is secret and purpose.

Silhouette, dress elements & fabric details

The linen robe “Wanderer” is made of two types of cloth: the base is of unbleached canvas-like linen, while the hood and sleeves are made of thinner, almost semitransparent linen, resembling coarse sackcloth and lightweight fabric of great lady's wimple at the same time.

The robe dress is bias-cut, allowing the cloth to stretch a little, and has a slightly high waistline which forms a slim and elongated silhouette. The skirt of the robe, which is exceptionally wide - almost 8 metres along bottom, falls in soft long folds. Wide gauzy sleeves complete effect of something unearthly and fantastic.

Regardless of the size, approximately 12 metres of cloth go to make this fantasy dress.
Additional fullness of a skirt is achieved by adding in two godets — the front one is sewed in a bit higher than the rear one to emphasize the arch of the back and the loftiness of the stature. The ample half-round hood can frame the face as a shawl, or be draped in the manner of a scarf or a volume collar when necessary.

This linen robe can be purchased from stock in one of the standard sizes, or to be made to order in one of the standard sizes, with its length adjusted according to your height.
